The goals of this innovative small project were to deliver high-end Lander Group design in a few affordable homes that take advantage of the amenities of the flourishing Seward neighborhood. This development consists of five two-story townhouses and two lofts surrounding a modest central courtyard.

The five townhouses all feature light on three sides and big windows to take advantage of it. All have private outdoor patios and front stoops that address on 21st Avenue. Some owners opted to finish the full basements. One townhouse has an attached garage; the others have direct private garage connections.

The two lofts have great views of the downtown skyline through oversized windows, and daylight from all four walls. Two levels, open floor plans and tall ceilings - 16 feet in the main living area - afford plenty of space.

The Seward neighborhood of Minneapolis, south of downtown and the University of Minnesota's West Bank campus, on the banks of the Mississippi River, has long been known for its diversity and bohemian flavor, successfully combining the best of urban and small town values. This project's bold design, fresh materials and slightly funky feel are right at home. The new Seward Co-op grocery store is across the street, the Seward Cafe is down the block, and Riverside Hospital, University of Minnesota, and Augsburg College are all a short bike ride away. The Franklin Avenue station of the Hiawatha Light Rail line make downtown, the Mall of America, and the airport a short trip.
